According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China exported a total of 12,377.23 mt of copper enamelled wire in December, up 49.81% YoY and 18.43% MoM. As of now, China has cumulatively exported 118,361.91 mt of copper enamelled wire from January to December, with a cumulative YoY growth of 29.57%. (HS code 85441100)
Amid concerns over "US tariff policy adjustments," the "export rush" for enamelled wire remains robust, with December exports of enamelled wire hitting a new record high. Specifically, in December, China's copper enamelled wire exports covered 144 countries and regions. Among the top 10 countries and regions by export volume, only exports to South Korea and Indonesia saw a MoM decline of 4.29% and 19.44%, respectively, while exports to other countries and regions showed growth. Vietnam, Japan, and Thailand remained the top three destinations, with export volumes of 1,956 mt, 1,641 mt, and 1,318 mt, respectively. Exports of enamelled wire to Egypt in December reached 341 mt, up 374.94% MoM, ranking 10th. Additionally, exports to Mexico and the UAE were 454 mt and 390 mt, up 99.52% and 64.46% MoM, ranking 8th and 9th, respectively.
